How long do I have to keep my old accreditation files for?
Solution QUESTION: How long do I have to keep my old accreditation files for?

RESPONSE: The Library of Virginia released Records Retention General Schedule #17 (GS-17) and it is effective March 24, 2009. The schedule can be downloaded from the LOV website by clicking here.

Your agency must keep its VLEPSC accreditation files on file for two consecutive accreditation cycles (eight years).
